In what ways did the french and indian war alter the political,economic and ideological relations between Britain and the american colonies.
I know the jist of this all, I was absent and missed half the lesson and cant think of how to write and essay on this.
PLEASE HELP ME. I'll give you a cookie? :eek:
well economically, Britain controlled the colonies much more strictly, using the navigation acts, tea act, etc. to tax the colonies to pay for the war, which the colonies didnt like. This started the revolution, so that could fit under the idealogical, but im not too sure about the political side. What book do you have by chance??

ok well you can start by stating the question, then the arguement "some think that the war did BLANK..." then your thesis " i think that the war altered the political very much"
1st par=polical changes
2nd = economic changes
3rd = idealogical
switch around if you want
conclusion=restate the question and reword the beginning, and if you know the information, that should pretty well have ya set :D

i might be wrong, but: idological: after the F/I war, the colonist became more dependent on British defense and they live up to their invulnerability ideology. it might be the opposite, and you might want to check the facts.
Ideology, after the war, colonists see the vulnerability of British, that GB is not all so strong and infallible. Economic, GB demand tax from colonist to pay for the debt of war.
