can you help me please? :confused:

i have no idea why the origins of slavery were socially based rather than economically based, and i have an essay on it due tommorow :eek:

They were based on both actually, not one more than the other. The origins were actually economical, there was no other reason to get slaves. I don't see how you can have an essay due on how slavery is based on society rather than economy.

brining in slaves affected the societies principals in AMerica greatly but society wasn't a reason to use/have slaves

they were socially based because the british and americans believed they were socially higher than the african slaves...i kno this is probably a lil too late, but hey, figured i'd give ya a hand
