Best book?

ok, I am in 10th grade and I am in AP US History. This is my teacher's first year teaching an AP class and he really isn't doing too well of a job teaching it. My class has the American Pageant book but what would you suggest would be the best book that I read to help me on the side? Like a review book or something like that. I am so nervous about taking the AP test because I don't think he is helping us too much. Thanks :D

but which one do you think is the BEST. My mom will only buy me one of the books because they are so expensive.

From what people have told me the Princeton Review is by far the best one.
