i am having a slight problem... i have to come up with 2 metaphors... one for what the Great Awakening meant to the "Old Lights" and one for what it meant to the "New Lights" I'm not a very creative person so i can't think of anything to relate those to to make it metaphoric, someone please help...

hahahahahahaham sorry i caught that last one as funny. uhm, maybe the old lights were quenched as a candle light is snuffed out??? sorry, science is my better then history, not english. :D
