Jefferson/Madison Hypocrite??? DBQ

Please Help...
With respect to the federal Constitution, the Jeffersonian Republicans are usually characterized as strict constructionists who were opposed to the broad constructionism of the Federalists. To what extent was this characterization of the two parties accturate during the presidencies of Jefferson and Madison?

this site should have a no put-down policy, he just asked for help. If you don't want to help that's fine just don't reply but to mock the man when he's on his knees is something, well it's disgusting. Please someone help the man.

jaysonic, while these forums are for people to help each other, they are not here for people to DO other people's homework. If you want help, feel free to ask for it, but don't ask for people to write your essays or do your homework.

No one was being put down, and in case you haven't read them, I suggest you read the forum policies, as this is addressed there ;)

Well armando i was simply asking for a little bit of help to create an outline for our dbq in a week, so i figrued id post the question our teacher had provided us so that it would be easy for others to help me out... i dont think i ever said 'do my homework' because if i did that i probably woulden't be taking an advanced placement class. I'm obviously capable of finding the information for most of the dbq's but i was a little confused by this one and was simply trying to get some assistance to aid me in my studing tonight, but if you'd rather insult me or direct me towards the 'forum policies' (which I have already read and understand) thats fine. I just hope someone else could be kind enough to help me out a little bit.
thanks jaysonic your the man

Obviously Mr.Barry has done his homework. He was not asking for someone to do the whole thing as he stated. I mean he needs an essay to do in class. He was not expecting someone to do it for him. This site is for assistence and it was him who took the initiative to find comprehension in something he didn't understand.

Acting like your better then someone is in some form or another a way of putting someone down. You expect me to not have read the policies when I had and was simply stating what I felt. You continued to put yourself above me when writing, "No one was being put down, and in case you haven't read them, I suggest you read the forum policies, as this is addressed there." You don't even know me man. Don't judge me.

It wasnt really accurate, because Jefferson had to do things thrigh "Loose Construction" Like purchasing hte Louissiana Territory. He himself said that it was unconstitutional, and tried to put through a quick ammendment, but his cabinet and people argues that it would take to long, and he needed to hurry up and take advantage of the opportunity. THis is 1 example. That shows that, he had to be a hypocrit, but in reality it was all for the good of the people.
