those r some good links....however, ive already searched for my answer and i only came up with those mentioned above....(well i guess i fond something about pardoning those imprisoned by the alien sedition acts)....but anyway....i need more general (or specific) reasons for good and bad things that happen during jeffersons presedency.....and how history has benefited from it......then i will try to build an essay off of my and suggested info.....maybe later i'll have someone/s to critique my essay.....

not bad, my only insight is that because you stated all about his first term in your intro, u cant use it in the body. You could make a good first paragraph out of it. And id recomend making your thesis into a three pronged thesis. (ie. Opinion, reason 1, reason 2, reason 3.)
