Well, I'm not quite sure if I late or three days early, but here it is anyways.
Political Personalities: well educated upper class men (adams, calhoun, clay, etc.) versus the candidate for the common man (Jackson), rugged, pioneer, never went to college.
States rights: The most I could find on this was the slavery issue and trying to keep the nation balanced. Henry Clay should appear often here.
Economic Isssues: There was a depression in 1819 and there was the formation and rise of corporations which led to unions (fighting for things like 10 hour work days....)
