While we strive to provide the most comprehensive notes for as many high school textbooks as possible, there are certainly going to be some that we miss. Drop us a note and let us know which textbooks you need. Be sure to include which edition of the textbook you are using! If we see enough demand, we'll do whatever we can to get those notes up on the site for you!
George Washington was an extremist in the aspect that he believed America should steer clear of all foreign affairs. Washington viewed foreign affairs as bad news that would only lead to the downfall of America as a country. He states this in his Farewell Address.
Thomas Jefferson thought quite the opposite. He was an ambassador to France and loved everything about it. He tried to keep an alliance with France but that ended during the Quasi War with Napoleon. Jefferson was very interested in France; especially during the French Revolution when they were trying to become a democratic country like America. Thomas Jefferson had a very outgoing perspective on Foreign Policies and did not remain neutral.
Hope this clears up something.
Thanks for that.
