The Way West

Me again. :D okay well i tried three sources before i came onto here...hopefully this one will work.

Okay im doing IDs on Chapter:12 of Us History AP called "The Way West". I have all but three complete, wondering if you could help any.

The IDs are
Indian Territory
Comance
MO
I dont quite know what MO stands for.
The Years are from 1776 to 1853.

Here we go from bottom to top...I like symmetry

MO- Stands for Missouri, as in Missouri Compromise. You should be able to find it easily no that you know what it is, it's pretty important.

comance- I'm hoping that you mean Comanche If so, here's the wikipedia link-scroll down to relationships with settlers.

Indian Territory- Basically they had it and we wanted it. The sturggle for land ended with placing Indians on reservations and destruction of most of their people. We did try to make all Indian children learn english and act American too at one point I think.
