A freind of mine who is legislative assistant asked me if I would be interested in applying for a postion as legislative aid for a three month period.
My question to you is whether you have had any experience in this type of position, or if you could offer some pointers.
Any resume tips? What should I know already? Etc.

Well, I can't say I have much experience, especially since I didn't even need a resume to get my summer job, but I would recommend speaking to the career counselor at your school. Mine (the only competant counselor at my school unfortunately) helps kids with college applications and essays and resumes. It sounds cool though. It does sound like you'd be doing some secretary-ish work, but you'll probably be allowed to go to all sorts of stuff most students couldn't. But hey, what do I know. I say go for it, you might even learn something!
