Yes, it is early Christmas morning, and just wanted to say Merry Christmas to all you guys and gals that celebrate it. Hope you're day is happy and not wasted by posting questions/answers on the forum :p . But in all seriousness, we love you guys, and especially the ones who take 15-20 minutes to check the site on holidays. So this is the Christmas thread where we tell how we spent the day, what we wanted vs. what we actually got, and any mishaps that may have happened (my family has this running theme of getting the entire house to fill with smoke...three years running hoping it's not four).

So far it's gone allright. I didn't give my mom an alergic reaction this time! And it's finally snowing outside, for the first time in a while. I think I'm going sledding in a bit with the rest of my insane family, but who knows?
My brother actually got home in time for Christmas- he had to travel through Chicago and Detroit during the weird weather, and the trip turned into a 36 hour marathon to get back. But he ot in....
The only thing that's gone wrong was one of the presents I got. Mom gave me the CS2 edition of Photoshop, but she got the version for Macs only, and I have a PC. To make things even crazyer, she got it from the local university (where she works), and they're shut down until the 3 of Jan! She's actually more bummed than I am:rolleyes:

Let's see, stayed home today, spending time with my family. Nothing to exciting happened. Got an black, 30gig iPod for Christmas as well as a bunch of shirts and The Godfather DVD Boxset. Already watched the first one earlier today. Man that is an awesome movie. Good acting, good cinema photography, good editing, etc...

Quite agreed, Mac's give me a headache.
It was a pretty uneventful day really. Just celebrated with my....hmmmm...ex-step-mother's family which is usual...first year as an ex though. I got a hot cocoa maker, a few giftcards, some jewelry, candy (oh boy did I get candy and there's more on the way too), and of course money from those obscure relatives you can never remember the names of. Around New Year's my mom is coming home and we'll celebrate with that side of the family, hopefully that will be fun as well :D .
And no, nothing burned this year.....yet :rolleyes: .

Mac's are superior to Windows, imo. Especially if you are getting into editing, especially video editing at that! Final Cut Pro for the Mac, amazing!
I'll stick with me earlier opinion. Macs aren't fun.
And I have to add this- while I was sledding, I managed to get hit in the face (accidentily, of course) with a sled. My nose still hurts!! That's what I get for trying to whitewash my dad, I guess....
