I would need to know the question.

There is no future. There is no past. There's only us, there's only this. Forget regret or life is your to miss. No other road, no other way. No Day But Today!!!

oh sorry...I just was kinda freaking out...

"From 1781 to 1789 the Articles of Confederation provided the United States with an effective government." Using the documents and your knowledge of the period, evaluate this statement.

Thank you very much for offering to help me. :)

I think I remember doing this one. Okay, well, I am going to give you a few tips, the APUSH people want more of your knowledge than they want the documents, however you must incorporate the documents.

So, first you have to decide if you agree or disagree with the statement. Then talk about and analyze the statement using historical events that abck up your point such as Shaye's Rebellion for one thing.

Then, you can look at the documents and find where they fit and maybe add like the letter or number of the document in parenthesis in the appropriate place of your paper.

There is no future. There is no past. There's only us, there's only this. Forget regret or life is your to miss. No other road, no other way. No Day But Today!!!

Just to expand a little more on gurl's statement.

Between the time period given, 1781-1789, what did the government do? Was the government able to survivie effectively under the Articles of Confideration? If yes, give examples of things that were done right. If no, give examples of where things went wrong.

You get to do your DBQs at home?? You are SO lucky. :p

Well I hope I'm not violating any forum rules but I would recommend going against the statement. If you can back it however, shoot. Go for it.

Actualy, effervescent, taking the dbq's home isn't that lucky. You'll get used to having the extra time and resources then, when you have a time limit it's "OMG WHAT ONE EARTH!?!? AHH FREAKOUT!" That's why I recommend, to those who have take home DBQ's, to set a time limit for themselves on when to complete the DBQ.

As far as the recommendation, you aren't answering the question, I'll, personaly, allow it.
