Yes it is. It may be difficult, but it is possible. I'm doing it and if I can, anybody can. lol
I know I haven't. I think, though, it all depends on the people themselves- that and how long you were friends before you two started to get interested with each other. But based on experience, I'd have to say no, that being close friends again doesn't happen.

It is possible, but yes, it does depend on the people, and it is often alot of work. My boyfriend is still close friends with one or two of his old girlfriends. I'm also friends with my old bf, although I'm not sure that can be used as an example- uber short relationship...

I think it's possible to be friends too. What happens if the friendship is completely one sided though? Like only one side is actually trying to be friends? Is it worth the effort to try and be friends or should one just give up?

I think it depends on how much you like the other person as a friend and how resistant they are to the idea. If they are absolutely against it, it's going to be much harder to change their minds then if they just feel a little awkward about it.

well...sometimes. most of the time for me....yes. unless something totally weird or something happened between you guys. then its kind of creepy...because all you can think about is that one thing that happened.
