Anyone think they know if there is any meaning about black butterfly during funerals?
I just came home from 3 hours of trip with my family to a funeral, When they (we and the other people) were praying at the grave yard where the person will be bury, I tilted my head (with eyes open of course) to the left and saw this BIG black butterfly flying to my direction, it flew over my head and maybe landed on my dad's head a moment (not so sure if it did though) and it flew away to right side of me and family to the sky. There was black birds very closely to field, and not sure where it go because was lost for a moment there about it being so close to me above my head ( I have phobia of bugs and insects), it might have touch one strain of my hair, lol. Anyways, I am Chinese but a Christian, and my relative are Buddhism, so I hear them talking about black butterfly during my grandmother's funeral. My brother and I are the only one saw it and it really was a big butterfly, larger than normal one, and no it is not a moth! Both of us are much more different from how normal people see things or think (no, I don't see ghost ok!), hard to explain but someone please just tell me if there is any meaning behind it. I am weird, yes I know, so please no criticism if you are about to put any, keep it to yourself, lol.

Wow. Seriously?
Well, someone told me that Butterflies symbolizes Transformation. So I guess it has something to do with a rebirth taking place. The Negative energies could be leaving in order for the person to be reborn. You know, leaving behind this life so they can move onto another life. (yea, I'm buddhist =P)
My family believes these kinds of things, so I have to pick some of it up. My mom speacializes in these things. -.-''
capitalization? who the heck came up with this horrible rule?!

Even though I am a Christian I still like these supernatural things. I heard from my relatives(Buddhist) that they are their spirit or something like that and they mean they have descended to heaven?????? No clue but it is fun to think about. It flew over my head and around my family and my mom just jokingly said that it is because the lady really like us (she is an old lady and always say that I am pretty and so much like one of her relatives and she adores my family somehow) and just wanted to say goodbye. Lol, We just kind of made that part up because we were thinking about it so much that we jsut came up with that silly conclusion, lol. So...does anyone else know what meaning there might be behind that? I really would want to know! It is fun ^_^
I hate to say this, but if I saw a black butterfly land on someone's head, I'd say "damn, that dude's dead." But I seriously doubt it means anything, probably just a very weird coincidence.
