Need Notes?
While we strive to provide the most comprehensive notes for as many high school textbooks as possible, there are certainly going to be some that we miss. Drop us a note and let us know which textbooks you need. Be sure to include which edition of the textbook you are using! If we see enough demand, we'll do whatever we can to get those notes up on the site for you!
Uh..oops. I forgot about the whole masculine/feminine thing. So I guess I'd be -chan. I do think that it's less formal though, what friends call each other...but if you know better than me, by all means tell me! :D
About the camera- I'm the worst person to ask. I actually need to look for a different one right now, so sorry, can't help you with that.

I really like the 2nd B&W too, really chiling though. They were religious artifacts the prisoners of Dachau managed to hang on to.
Anyway Guess That Movie!

If you can get it from just this shot I'll be impressed, and I'll give you a cookie ;)
Hey Effervescent, I can help with the camera question, but it really depends on what you want in a camera. I have a digital SLR (Canon Rebel XTi) which I love.
"Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you're up to."
"And God came down from the Heavens, and He said unto the Chicken, 'Thou shalt cross the road.' ...and there was much rejoicing."
Oooh, oooh, tell me about the camera! How is the zoom? How is it inside- is it alright with dimmer lighting, does it still take okay pictures? Is there a delay time when you take picutres? And the last question (the one I'm afraid of....) about how much did it cost?
Can you tell I'm looking at cameras, too? :p

Woah! So many questions. Okay, Here we go;
How is the zoom?
It's an SLR camera (Single-Lense-Reflex) so technically you have to buy a seperate 'zoom' lense because the camera does not have a "digital zoom" function for taking the picture. However, beacuse of the 10.1 Megapixels, when you zoom in digitally (on the camera [after taking the shot!] or computer) you can hardly see the pixels. Most digital SLRs have both automatic and manual modes, but what's the point of manual if you just use automatic.

It has some amazing features (Apeture dependent) that will allow light in practically anywhere, beware of camera shake though. It also has a built in pop-up flash that I personally have had no problems with, but taking a darn night shot is a little different. It has an automatic dust filtration system, which is useful.
Delay time?
The XTi has very little shutter delay time, but it still isn't the Nikon D80 I wanted. It has continuous shot modes.
Price?
Remeber, if you want a DSLR they are going to be pricey, especially compared to some Point-and-shoot alternatives. Anyway the whole kit'n'kaboodle was $950...I think. This included the camera and starter lense kit, two memory cards, two batteries, two filters, and two diffferent cases.
Keep in mind what you want out of your camera. Do you do a lot of cropping or editing; do enjoy messing around with your settings; are you used to a certain type of camera; all these things should be taken into account.
There are plenty of good cameras with lots of features that aren't SLRs, but that's just what I have.
Whew, never sounded more like my Photography teacher in my life. If you have more questions feel free to ask, or if I confused you tell me and I'll clarify.

Wow, looks like I stumbled across the right person! Hmm, let me get back to you on this camera thing- I've got to think a bit about what I'm going to need, and what I really want to get. Thanks though!
And I have absolutly no clue what movie that's from.

I really like the picture of the tunnel/greenhouse? Not quite sure what it is but it looks nice!
Here's some of mine that I took awhile ago during the spring-summer of some flowers in the neighborhood.
