DBQ help

ANY tips on writing DBQs (particularly on grouping documents & writing a thesis) would be greatly appreciated...
a sample DBQ would be great (I still have no idea what they should look like...my teacher isn't helping)

when you read through all the documents, just think about where the author's coming from and whose side they're on. That helps with grouping. You can also group them by what type they are, such as: someone's opinion, factual/numerical information, a letter, an explorer's observations, etc. You can say why the document was written or why it's important to the topic.
thesis writing... all i can say is, don't restate the question. So just try to put it in your own words and maybe set it up in a different way than the question phrased it.

I may be too late but here goes,
First: you aren't choosing a side
Second: use this acronym and jot down the info for each document
A:author
P: purpose
A:audience
B:bias
C:category
Third: Figure out which categories you can use that will use ALL of the documents
Fourth: When you write it state how each of the documents relate to the category, DO NOT COPY the document (the graders have it next to them!), explain how your category shows an answer to the question. ANSWER THE QUESTION
...I hope this helps!
