3 years ago, i moved to MA from CA and i met two girls in high school. We were the best friend for a year, but i had to move to another state again..(Sucks..) During time, i really liked one of my friend as a girl friend and i think she knows i like her. After i moved WA, (very far away..) i start call her once a week, but she never call me or anything..
I like her, but i live too far away from her. all i can do is texting or calling.
what should i do? i mean should i just forget about her? sometimes, im so sick of call her and there isnt much to talk about.. please help me:(

yea i agree long distance relation ships are a pain, and if shes not returning your calls it could just be shes really busy or just dosnt want to talk. dont take it personal if she doesnt call back. ohh this is advice from the female side

Female Specimen here: Honestly yeah.. haha I agree they are a real pain in the arsenal; anyone can agree with that. PopTart you're right also on the whole "not returning calls" thing too. I mean if you can't really get back into contact with you, you're probably the only one trying to put effort into the situation. And it might not be that they're not interested any more - could be they're scared or that you know don't want to go through with the pain. It's not a matter a fondness or distance or aquiring to me, really, it's about litterally how far you and or the other are willing to take it and withstand.
Psychological perspective, don't beat yourself up and ruin the rest of your intristic modivation.

i agree with you guys too. i've been in a relationship that wasn't even that long distance and it sucked. i felt like i was trying to do everything, and he didn't even seem to care.i told myself to just give him time and he'll come around, but it didn't happen. so i slowly let go of it to from talking a couple days a weeek to a couple times a month, etc. i think about it now and agian and get frustrated but deep down i know i did the right thing.:o
You should ask the girl's personal opinion on this one. Just ask her if she still want to keep in contact.
I agree with the person above. That way it gives her the chance to be honest and to even possibly explain why she has been so aloof. I hope that makes sense.... anyway, good luck!!!!
I don't think you should forget about this special person but try to forget about thoes deep feelings. Long distnace is a huge effort and for only one person to put the effort forth will just end up crashing and burning. But I think you should still keep in contact as friends. Distnace would be something stupid to loose a friendship over :[

I have these problems, too. I have been living in different countries so... imagine that!
Well, my advice would be not to call her weekly. Maybe call her on her birthday and on special holidays. I mean, if she really does not want to keep this friendship, there is nothing you can do except for let go.
So, hope it helps.
yep moved in and out of a couple countries and moving around schools has taught me that those kind of friendships really just die out.. kind of sad but hey life moves on.. and if you want to keep in touch with her, like ^^ Anne- Claire said, just have the periodic checkup kind of thing going..
