Try to improve. What else is there to do?

I think every student has had his or her dilemmas, especially junior year. It's tough, and with all the other things thrown in the mix, the picture isn't getting any better.

Aim for the bigger picture. Step back, take a breath, and relax. I always like to say to myself that "I'm in America, the land of opportunity. There's always hope if I do my best". No matter what happens, there's always a doorway to success in America. No other country can offer this.

Do your best. Let you represent you, not some numbers.

I know what you mean. This year was probably my worst GPA wise and argh it's agrivating. Mostly because I know I put more effort in this semester in any other semester. 0_0 Freshman was a joke.. don't want to get into Sophmore.. haha I'm in a truama.

haha Doorway to success.. yeah I guess you're right. It's not the end of the world, but it's pretty depressing. I'm tragically the type of person that beats herself for every little thing. Other countries do offer some type of opportunity, just not the same as America - They're stricter. 0_0 I used to go to school in Spain, it was 10 times worse, esspecially since the case is: you're in school, you're gonna get educated

haha my brother used to tell me the same thing.. but I am who I am V_V
word of the wise
Don't let that paper say who you are
You put on that paper who you want to be

Um....get really good grades your senior year?

Then you can always go to community college and get REALLY good grades there and then go to a normal university (in some cases for only 2 years).

Then you're solid.

is that the weighted or unweighted? if that is unweighted... maybe you should get rid of some AP classes because it would be really killing you if you don't do good.

well, i think its weighted, and its only for the S1..I still have S2 tho..
but should i take easy class? cuz i have pretty hard classes and i think thats the reason my GPA is so low..i didnt do good at all..

haha...wow nobody has said the obvious. surprise surprise. look are u in all AP classes, mostly AP classes, ahead of your class in the courses ur taking...what? let me back up really quick. i have a 6.0 out of 7.0, which is roughly a 3.4+ (3.42 i think). anyway, as u know it's time for u to look for colleges u might want to go to. to rule some out, check out stats of enrolled freshman. as a matter of fact, sign up right now for fastweb.com. they have all colleges and requirements and scholarships u could possibly want. look at ur school's criteria and think. What is the lowest grade on an AP exam a college will accept? i got a 3 on one of mine, but the college i want to go to requires a 4 with some exceptions. second thing u should look at is the average GPA of the school. NOBODY is perfect, and GPA IS NOT EVERYTHING. don't forget: SAT, ACT, courses taken (they will strongly consider wut courses ur taking depending on major choice), GPA, class rank (i'm sure there are many worse), &c. there's so much that they take into account, but there's no need to fret. hell they look at ethnicity, finance, religion, all sorts of random crap. so don't worry about ur GPA if ur taking hard classes. it's not the end of the world. u have a semester in a half to make it up. u can take correspondence and summer school if u REALLY feel u can do better in a course. my Precalculus teacher told us today "there's no such thing as a dumb person. everyone has the capability; it just comes to some faster." study. less phone time. less tv viewing (play video games like me! then u can be someone else for a couple of hours!!). no hanging out with friends (except on birthdays). study on weekends especially...wow...sorry for writing a novel, but i'm done!
