Hi

Hey everyone. My name is Diego and I'm a junior in high school.

I'm currently taking two AP courses (English Language and US History).

I ran into this forum by typing in the AP prompt into Google and boy was I glad I found this place.

I'm currently working on this AP Prompt:

Quote:"Reform movements in the United States sought to expand democratic ideals." Assess the validity of this statement with specific reference to the years 1825 - 1850.

Unfortunately, we had a horrible teacher for 3/4 of this year who tought us everything wrong. We haven't even reached the Civil War yet.

Luckily we now have a great teacher who's really trying to help us catch up. We've been able to cover 2 chapters in about a week and a half.

I've been trying to get out of this class, though, for many reasons. It's a combination of the facts that I have to learn in half a year what is supposed to take a whole year, it's an expensive test that I can't take and almost knowingly fail, and it isn't really even all that worth it since if I miraculously do pass it'll just be for an elective credit.

But since I'm in the process of requesting a schedule change this late in the year (which will most likely not happen) I'll try my best to actually try in this class. So that's where this forum comes in. :p

Now, I'd better get back to this DBQ...
