Honors or AP?

Hi!
In terms of colleges and such, is it better to have an A (any type: A-, A, A+) in an honors class or a B in an AP class of the same subject?
Thanks in advance for your help.

it's about the same gradewise (because AP classes are usually weighted), but for honors you just don't get the college credits.

Also in APs, most teachers will grade on a 10-point college scale rather than the high school scale, plus on your GPA, a set amount is added according to what grade you get, so I would say a B in an AP is definitley better than an A in honors.

B in an AP class just because it is that much harder, an A in honors is about half as good as an A in AP, B- in AP can sometimes be equilalent to an A+ in honors depending on the teacher, also college prefer AP work load students to honor work load and they also take into account course rigor.

All in all AP trumps Honors.
