Hey ok dont think that i am lame but the fact is that i have never had a boyfriend before and my senior prom is coming up and i want to go with some one. what should i do?

Don't feel bad, I haven't had a BF etiher. Infact, just today my best friend was like, "I need to get you a boyfriend and you're going to get your first kiss by the end of the year." I just laughed, anyway, don't feel lame. There are others like me who haven't had one. Anyway, for you senior prom, are there any guys you might just like to hang out with? I mean you don't nessecarily(sp?) have to have a serious boyfriend to got to prom.

The only thing is that most of my friends are girls and almost all of them are younger than me. i do talk to a few guys but nothing more than a couple of words in class. if i was to find someone to have out with at prom how would i go about talking about it or asking him.
you could always go with a guy just as friends if you don't know them that well and don't want it to be too terribly awkward.
Just remember that a guy is not the be-all-and-end-all of life. If you meet someone you like, and he likes you, go for it. But if you don't meet someone, don't be afraid to walk in with your head held high alone, and dance with all the other singles. Trust me, there will be plenty of single men there. Just, have fun.

as a guy i can honestly say that i am the be-all-and-end-all of life. (at least, i like to think so).
at the same time i should add that going to prom with me is probably not the be-all-and-end-all of life. if you can, go with a group of people instead of trying to go with one guy. i can almost guarantee(sp?) that you will have more fun. prom should also be an oportunity to hang out with all your friends instead of just a boyfriend/girlfriend thing.
all in all, it's just another brick in the wall...
