So in that email you sent out chris you said you wanted suggestions.
Mine is get rid of the forums with all the Newsbot posts. I honestly think they're worthless and a waste of space. Everyone that really wants news online can find it easily enough on their own. Those forums just....look bad. Like a trash dump or something.

Suggestion noted and theres a good chance it will be taken into affect for the overhaul of the site :)
I've also heard that Human Geography, Art History, Physics and maybe even Music Theory will be added to the site... a little birdie told me ;)

Well we went over it like years ago, but I'm a firm believe in Consolidation as opposed to expansion.
I still wish there was a way we could set up the boards in an almost folder-tree style that you click through to get to individual subjects instead of the main page being like "OH CRAP STUFF!"

So you think that it would be better to move all of the US History forum posts into one US History forum opposed to split into Essays/DBQs/Tests/Quizzes/etc?

I think that'd be good. But I know you can do Sub-Forums, so maybe have a "US History" forum, and have subforms for all those other things.
My ideal would be to have BROAD based boards like "Social Sciences, Physical Sciences, Math, Arts" and then have individual topics as subforms. But that's my ideal.

Another suggestion, let's clear off the list of staff/moderators that haven't shown up in forever. Because I know I get PMs from people here asking for help, so there must be PMs going to the no-shows, and when they don't respond it makes us all look bad.

I think we should turn on account verification so we don't get quite as many freakin' bots. All the other boards I go to use it and there are no bot problems. Just the simple "Check yo email, punk" thing.

Thats actually on already. Im guessing they just have an automatic system that beats that. What we could do is make it so your first post has to be approved by a moderator before other members see it?

Sounds like a plan.

totally unrelated suggestion-- could we put more than one current class on our profiles?
