i'm doing a DBQ on booker t. washington and debois and the question is : using the documents and your knowledge of the period 1877-1915, assess the appeopriateness of each of these strategies in the historical context in which each was developed.

I'm a little bit confused about what you need, but I'm going to guess that you need help writing your entire introduction paragraph. Pretty much what you want to do is start out broadly, give some relevant information about the time period (tell things that set the stage that are important to the question like the time frame or who was leader or sometimes a preceding event...), and then your thesis comes at the end. Your thesis is essentially the outline of your paragraph - you're going to have the main topics of each paragraph in the sentence in the order that you're going to write about them.

I'm not sure if this is what you were looking for. If it isn't, let me know more specifically what you need help on and I'll do my best to try and help!

Oh, and we don't have outlines for the American Republic book, but if you give me the author I can see if I can find any online.
