While we strive to provide the most comprehensive notes for as many high school textbooks as possible, there are certainly going to be some that we miss. Drop us a note and let us know which textbooks you need. Be sure to include which edition of the textbook you are using! If we see enough demand, we'll do whatever we can to get those notes up on the site for you!
What are the essays like in AP Art History? Does it involve a lot of analysis? I really want to take this class next year, but I'm a horrible writer, plus I plan on taking at least 4 other AP classes next year.
I'm only a freshman in high school and I'm taking this course. It's not that bad once you get used to it. It's actually pretty interesting learning the different styles used. Especially when you're walking past an old building with your friend and can easily brag by letting then know what styles it has and what era it was made in.

Art History is one class in high school that I never took. Did take a class similar to it in college and thought it was pretty interesting. It was definitely different from the rest of my business/entrepreneurship/IT classes so it was refreshing and helped me think about things in different ways.

I took AP Art History last year and I can honestly say that it was one of the most interesting classes I have ever taken even though I am a math and science type of person and I have taken 21 AP courses. It's interesting to see the different relationships between a culture's history and its method of artistic expression. Though if you are going to take it, I suggest that you take a world history course first.
