The genocide of the Jewish population, and other persecuted parties (gypsies, homosexuals, Poles, intellectuals, and anyone opposed to the Nazi party) was committed by the Nazi (National Socialist) Party that led Germany and controlled most of Europe. This was an attempt to "filter out" unwanted races to create a German "super-race".19
367052223Decline of Ottoman EmpireThe empire fell behind the industrial and political developments in Western Europe and America. They were invaded by powerful countries and lost a huge amount of land after WW1, since they sided with the Central Powers and lost the war.20
