The collapse of the Roman Empire was more significant because of centralization that had been placed on all aspects of society to the institutions in Rome. Europeans were lost and shocked after the fall of the Roman Empire. In China, their concept of Dynastic Cycle led to acceptance of the fall as a natural occurrence.9
