harsh or corrosive in tone
believing the worst of human nature and motives
feeling or showing extreme anger

exaggeratedly emotional or sentimental
imaginative recreation of an event or feeling, especially from the past
marked by withdrawal and inability to form close relationships
word or phrase to substitute something, or insult
ambiguity of a meaning leading to more than one interpretation
stimulating, affecting the feelings
belittling or undervaluing oneself excessively
not genuine
longing for something past
mixed feelings or emotions
appearance, how pleasing something can be
the act of adding extraneous decorations to something
present at birth but not necessarily hereditary
uniformity, similarity
repetition of words, phrases, and clauses used in a concise manner, to emphasize a point
a complex sentence in which the main clause comes last and is preceded by the subordinate clause
two or more subjects joined together usually by "and" or "or" that share a common verb
does not express a complete thought and cannot stand by itself as a complete sentence
