God tested Abraham by telling him to sacrifice his beloved son, Isaac, as a burnt offering. Abraham obeyed, but an angel stopped him before he killed Isaac because he had proven his faith.0

"The prodigal son returns"--> what people say when someone comes crawling back looking for forgiveness.44
