298607434Conquest of the AztecSo, here's the 411. Hernan Cortes comes in and is being aggressive. Moctezuma II is trying to be diplomatic (unlike the Mongols). Moctezuma is an idiot and invites the Spanish in after a while, and then BOOM, Spanish imprison Moctezuma and eventually take over the Aztec capital.14
298607435Conquest of the IncaStory time! SO, Atahualpa is the emperor of Inca Peru. Their army was crap because Atahualpa had been fighting for the throne. So when Franciso Pizarro comes in, it's pretty easy for him to take over (with only 180 men).15
298607436European ExplorationThe Europeans pretty much came over to the Americas and it was a race to get as many colonies as you could. There was little to no respect for any of the native peoples or any one who was born in the Americas, even if they were of European decent. European powers fought to get as much control as possible, and in the end, England and Spain got the most of Americas.16
298607437Vasco da GamaPortuguese explorer. 1497-98, he led the first naval expedition from Europe to sail to India17
