The Third Estate was allowed double representation as they constituted 97% of the entire population. Mad at the First Estate for not agreeing with them they rebelled to create the National Assembly.25
319414514National AssemblyCreated on June 17, 1789 by the Third Estate. The job of these meetings was to create a new constitution that helped not just the greedy nobles and clergy, but everyone.26
319414515Storming of the BastilleThis was probably the most important turning point of the French Revolution, when a ton of peasants decided to storm a weapons cache and arm themselves. Louis decided that he'd high-tail it out of their and escape his impending doom. From July 19 to August 3, peasant revolts known as the Great Fear basically made France turn into complete chaos.27
319414516Declarations of the Rights of Man and the Citizen (not women)This was created on August 4 of 1789 to give men basic rights as citizens of France, women feared that it would not extend to them, so cleverly they created one called Declaration of the Rights of Woman and the Female Citizen, can't possibly guess where they got that name from sadly.28
319414517Civil Constitution of the ClergyCreated in July of 1790, this allowed bishops and priests to be elected by the people and paid by the state.29
319414518France's New ConstitutionCreated in 1791, this embodied a monarch, but also a Legislative Assembly which kept watch on the monarch. This new system allowed male citizens to vote for electors.30
319414519France's RepublicCreated on September 21 because of the failing war against Austria the National Convention created this.31

319414522NapoleonA very short man who probably rode a miniature sized horse. He dominated basically most of Europe from 1799 to 1815. He decided that being emperor was a good idea, accomplished it, then conquered basically everything except the major powers of Europe. When he invaded Russia, they decided that it was a better idea to burn Moscow. Making the "Great Retreat" home on his miniature sized horse, Napoleon is later exiled, comes back, exiled again to St. Helena to where he dies.34
