5251030828HinduismMore of a life style, developed from brahmanism. Reincarnation is based off of good deeds or karma. Vedas (Hymns of knowledge, Upanishads are reflection of Vedas. Men and women are supposed to be equal, spread through trade and commerce.3

5251032710ConfucianismStarted by confucius, the belief that there is good in everyone. The order of the family (Elders in the highest rank) line up with the state. Aristocratic roots, the analects are Confucian teachings. Women show obedience, loyal to men. Filial piety, respect of everyone, especially the elders. Junzi "Superior individual" Avoided religion, politics and ethics were focused on. Spread through schools.7
5251032711LegalismComplete opposite of Confucianism, believed everything was ethically wrong and ruled with strict laws and punishment.8
5251034611JudaismWorship the Torah and the Talmud which are the first five books, known as the Exodus. The Exodus tells about the Israelites and there salvation from Egypt. Founded by Abraham, they can only worship Yahweh, first monotheistic religion. People (And women) are treated equally, women could be rabbi. Spread through diaspora.9
5251036696IslamStarted by Muhammad in Mecca. They worship the Quran which is Muhammad's revelations. Went to Yathrib and built a community based on holy writings he found during meditation. Strict monotheistic religion, only one god which is Allah. Egalitarian belief. It is easy to learn and practice, non-muslims are welcome.10
