Christians in Spain, Berbers in N. Africa, and Jews, and Zoroastrians in Persia. Some adopted ISlam and the culture: Arabs, Egypt, N. Africa and Iraq. Others only adopted Islam and kept their own culture: Iran, Turkey, Pakistan.20
