I attended West Point Military Academy where I became a great military leader.
I became a congressman in 1845.
I became a U.S. senator in 1847.
I was a colonel in the Mexican-American War.
I was appointed as Secretary of War by Franklyn Pierce.
I became presidernt of the Confederate States of America in 1861.
I led the military to many victories.
I was captured by union soldiers at the end of the Civil War and sent to prison for 2 years.
I wrote the book, "The Rise and Fall of the Cpnfederate Government a few years after returning home to Mississippi.
I passed away on December 10, 1889
