a superiority in numbers or amount
lying face upward

the most direct or specific meaning of a word or expression
an idea that is implied or suggested
use of the same consonant at the beginning of each stressed syllable in a line of verse

poetic phrase used in place of the usual name for something/someone. Example: Freeport High School=Falcons Nest
