So my AP English Lit teacher wants us to write essays that explain how Shakespeare's literary devices and schemes of construction contribute to the overall meaning and effectiveness of the passage. Literary devices and schemes of construction would include things like parallel structure, anadiplosis, anastrophe, asyndeton and things like that. My question: how would these things make soliloquy more meaningful? How would I approach this kind of passage analysis?
