Who would you like to see as the next president when Bush steps down... Not a Democratic fan but I wouldn't mind Hillary Clinton ;) She would and can do wonders for this country.

Barack Obama enjoys popularity in a very democratic state. Obama is not going to be "moderately" liberal. He is being built to run on a liberal ticket with another liberal. Just look at his voting record. By saying moderate conservative, I didn't mean nominate a conservative as in someone like Bush. What they need is someone that appeals to voters who use moral issues like abortion and gay rights to decide their vote. What they need is someone who doesn't prance around talking about all these new federal programs without telling you how they are going to pay for them. The ideal candidates for the Democrats are John Edwards and Mark Warner. I'm sticking by those two guys.

Hillary Clinton has a good chance of being a presidential candidate. There have been some speculation on whether she will actually be running in the race. One can only tell a year before the election, because it is pretty early to determine who has a chance of becoming president.

In the decades ahead, they will represent something uncommon in U.S. military history: war veterans with practical experience in democratic governance, learned under the most challenging of conditions.
