Well my mom was thinking about making me go get the HPV vaccine, and I was wondering how effective vaccines were. I came across this article, and I don't really know what to make of it. Thoughts? Would you get a vaccine today anyways?

Hmm..I just got this vaccine yesterday, and my doctor told me it was remarkably effective...98.something, I think. So yeah, I'd still get vaccines. Regardless of all the stories they DO do the job they were created for and have helped more than they've harmed.
It's been common knowlage for a while that some people do indeed react to vaccines, etc. But that hasen't proven vaccines any less viable or ineffective against diseases and epidemics.

They are basically putting the virus inside of you so you may feel weird or sick for a few days afterwards but, for the most part, vaccines are very effective.
