Need Notes?
While we strive to provide the most comprehensive notes for as many high school textbooks as possible, there are certainly going to be some that we miss. Drop us a note and let us know which textbooks you need. Be sure to include which edition of the textbook you are using! If we see enough demand, we'll do whatever we can to get those notes up on the site for you!

Why didn't we think of this before?! ;-)

My view is that there are no good reasons to deny gays marriage.
I further maintain that there are few logically consistent views that allow for this, and virtually no one who is an opponent of gay marriage ever uses those. That is to say: virtually everyone opposed to gay marriage does so in a way that results in an internal contradiction, meaning they are false in their reasoning.
I am very anxious to see someone challenge this.
I've always supported all relationships as long as the two people involved loved each other but lately I'm beginning to find more and more a disturbing fact:
I have friends that turn out to be gay and have crushes on me. o.O
Is it wrong for me to feel afraid and disturbed when I support gay marriages?

I feel that you can support something, but it may not be right for you. I support the troops, I am definitely not comfortable with being in the military. We all have our own preferences, and you may support ones that are outside that category.
Of course, there are probably those that will call you a hypocrite....

It's just that I think it's fine that people have their own preferences, but I'm not comfortable with the idea that once gaiety becomes an accepted concept, I could be fair game for both genders. I don't like the idea of being hit on by a girl...

Say you're not interested? I think I'd be equally uncomfortable with some guys than with girls. Well, used to be. I think I'd choose the girl over the creepy guy...

As long as you are not forced to do anything, I don't see the problem.
