Yes it does cost money and it also is an issue for me because i am not that wealthy. Good thing there is scholarships and financial aids. Yes you get a college credit and when you apply for a university it inspires you to have a better essay than most students. For example if you want to go to an Ivy League school like Harvard or Princeton it would be a very good oppurtunity. Also there is summer secondary schools that give you college credits ( If you are interested message me). Yes i love all kinds of anime and also the live ones. The ones you named are in my interest and i don't get to watch them a lot = [ because it is school and you got to work. I also volunteer a lot and try to do at home studying. I also am planning on staying here and go to university and get a good career. I haven't done that yet but i have been invited to and really hope to get to do it. Yes ask as much as you want because it is nice to have someone to talk since i have no friends =]. By the way are you a sophmore?

Just a random question, does it matter when people of different grades date each other? What if the girl is one, or even two grades above the guy? I'm totally fine with it, but a lot of my friends say that they think it's weird. What do you guys think about that?

IMHO, there's a point where age no longer seems to matter. Think about it, say two people started dating and they're three years apart. 14 and 17 looks and sound horrible, but 19 and 22...doesn't look as bad huh. My brother's current girlfriend is 20 and he's 23.

However, you will get a ton of crap from those who don't share your opinion. If you think you can handle it and ride it out, it will slowly die. My one friend started dating a senoir her freshman year; they's still together and the 'gossip' has died off.

My maternal grandparents were 12 years apart, and lived happily until my grandfather's death.

I think the biggest thing about age difference in high school is that you'll most likely have different classes and different circles of friends who have different interests (you know it's true, once you hit sophmore/junior year you know you did some stupid stuff as a freshman). And of course there are different concerns - standardized testing freshman, junior, and senior year not including the SAT or ACT, not to mention college plans which may be very different. And there's the 18 is legal thing ~ may or may not be a problem, I won't ask, I won't judge. Of course it's completely possible, those are just some reasons why it's awkward whereas when you graduate and get into college/work, you have a mix of years in your classes, you generally have the same issues, and a combined group of friends is more likely and easily found. I say go for it and enjoy it if it makes you happy - that's what a relationship is all about right?

I'm a high school Junior, and I've never really had a real girlfriend... just friends with benefits. My current friend with benefits lives on the other side of the D.C. area, and she's busy as hell with all her AP classes and cheerleading.... that kinda sucks but I'm looking forward to the next time I hang out with her though ;)

not that much ppl like us who are taking ap classes as a junior in high school really have boyfriends or girlfriends because as for now we're smart enough to focus on school because we know that it is important in our future.

you can have a relationship and still concentrate on school. My boyfriend tells me to study all the time so I get good grades, and is in fact the reason I want to excell in school
