you're talking about the melodic minor right? sounds like it,

F# G# A B C# D# E#/ F F#

that E you put is really a F# because E is harmonic to F, so yep, you got the "sharpened it" right. lmao.

you've got it right...
doesnt it only have 3 sharps: F, G, C? so start them all off at the Key of C, then add all the sharps in, making all the Fs, Gs, and Cs, sharp and thats all. you dont even touch the others notes..

capitalization? who the heck came up with this horrible rule?!

right? cant remember.

*for the B and the C# part, it's only like that because there's no "B#" and Cb would be B.

Thank you so much! That was driving me crazy. It's that stupid transition from sharps to flats that gets me. I'll be watching myself more carefully from now on.

lol. yea. it bothers me every now and then. especially in sight reading. you're fine.. then all of a sudden it switches to tenor clef and then there's a f double sharp and you're like.. OH Goodness!!!
