I never really liked dogs. I'm VERY MUCH a cat person.

So...I counted today, and between semesters I got over a month off. Close to five weeks with no school, and no job.

I played a lot of guitar.

Wow, that sounds great. My break felt like it was too short, 'cause I spent about two and a half weeks at home. I lost a week going to Florida with my college, then spent half a week traveling home.

How was everybody's Christmas? Or winter break?

Mine was pretty chill--I just kinda sat around. One of my friends let me ride her horse, so I did that for a bit, and tried to go out skiing and snowshoe runs, but it got really cold (-43 degrees F!) so I couldn't do much after it got that cold. Stayed that way for most of the time I was home, too. Got a lot of books read!

Half a week? Did you drive there?

And I like cats too, but I probably prefer dogs, and bigger dogs at that. Of course, there's also nothing like having a purring cat snuggle in your lap...

I didn't really accomplish much over my break...I got through a season in harvest moon though...

Harvest moon? Is that some new show?

No, I didn't drive home. Although, I probably would have gotten back faster that way than I did. I managed to get stuck traveling during the absolute worst time of 2008: when the entire mid- and northwest of the US was engulfed in storm after storm. 3 out of my 4 flights were canceled, and the ones that I managed to take were all delayed. I spent and extra day in Minnesota and an extra 2 and a half days in Seattle. I did manage to get home in time for Christmas. Barely.

Heh, enough of my whining. I was playing around on Photoshop last night, and this is the result (I figure it couldn't hurt to post one small picture, right?):

I'm not sure if I like it or not. It's really...bright.

Ouch, sorry to hear about your flights xena. Glad you got home though.

Lol about Harvest Moon. It's a video game, although I'm not entirely surprised - it's not all that popular. Basically you're a farmer and you grow crops, raise animals, fish, mine, and try to get married. Gameplay is kinda slow, but I like it.

Still, sounds like the kind of game that's easy to get addicted to.

Brr, just got back from team riding practice. We've got a show coming up this Sunday, and we're all out of shape. Hehe, I think we'll still do good though!

Oh, it's very easy to get addicted to...I was mining for like 4 hours straight the other day...stupid mine with it's 255 levels...

And I'm sure you'll get back in shape quickly. It's just like riding a bicycle...with four legs...and stirrups instead of pedals...that's taller....and with reigns....yeah...

Yeah...just like a bike! Lol

How's school treating you these days--crazy busy as usual? Mine's already getting hectic. I'm taking 22 credits this semester, so I'm sure you know how THAT is.

Yeah...most I've taken is 18, 22 is a little crazy for me. I'm at 12 right now, most of them are easy classes. Let's see...I've got British Literature, World History (Because apparently learning both sections of U.S. History is not enough...), Physics 2, Physics 2 lab (yeah, physics this year is not going to be fun, but it's just one semester of e-mag and optics, then I'll be over all that hopefully...), weight training - credit hour just for working out = SWEET! plus required, and research strategies.

It's a relatively easy semester because I've got 16 credit hours until I have enough credits for my associates thereby guaranteeing me admission back into 4 year university AKA Georgia tech. Filler classes.

OH! and get this! I bought the book for research strategies, which I start halfway though the semester, and No joke, the first chapter begins with an entire section on mouse use...

NO JOKE!

First section: Pointing and Clicking.

But yes, unfortunately the craziness in my life stems from actual events. Pregnancies (not me - bf is still across the country), dog issues, people issues, annoying bf's, datings of married people, relatives getting injured, the list grows daily.

THE DRAMA!!!THE DRAMA IS COMING!!!!

Haha, the drama will never go away!

That reminds me of a trick that two of my friends pulled just the other day. These two have been going out forever, and are planning on getting married as soon as they both graduate. Well, the guy wanted to see what kind of reaction they'd get if they "broke up" on Facebook--you know, single status and such. So he went in and changed things around in both his and my friend's Facebook. She had no idea, and was really confused to turn on her phone after class and find out she had an insane number of missed calls and texts. Her boyfriend filled her in on what he was doing, and, thinking it was hilarious, she went along with him.

Boy was it funny hearing her talk about that--people take Facebook and that sort of thing too seriously!
