So I'm taking AP biology, AP spanish 4, AP US history, and AP language and composition, so I decided to buy the review books 2008 edition Princeton review for biology and US history, but my friend said that the book won't help me at all because the test I'll be taking is for 2009 edition. I also wanted to study these classes over the summer, but I'm worried that these books won't do anything for me. Can anyone tell me if these books are fine to use for next year or should I return them to the bookstore?

Need Notes?
While we strive to provide the most comprehensive notes for as many high school textbooks as possible, there are certainly going to be some that we miss. Drop us a note and let us know which textbooks you need. Be sure to include which edition of the textbook you are using! If we see enough demand, we'll do whatever we can to get those notes up on the site for you!
Okay, the Princeton Review series - Cracking the AP U.S. History Exam - came out with a version suitable for the 2008 and 2009 tests it appears, which is probably the one you have. The strictly 2009 edition is released this december - a bit too far away I think. I can't really find anything on the changes made, although they're adding a few pages, but they could be anything. Perhaps there's an introduction or there's a longer test or something. Most predictably the test will change. However, I'm guessing (note, this is my opinion) that since history is over and done with, the material won't change dramatically. If you want to wait until December you're free to do so. However, if you have the 2008 version, it might be in your best interest to switch to the one for both 2008 and 2009 - you can find it online for about 10 dollars or get it at the store for about 20 and I recommend doing so. Later of course, you could sell the book online if you wanted and get the 2009 version.
So there are a few options for you, let me know if you have anymore questions and I hope you found this helpful :)

Thanks!!! I think I will just return both books, because I was really hoping to study these courses over the summer. Do you know any site that can help me study these courses?
Well, we have outlines and notes for both on the main site - you can get to them now with the drop down menus at top. I personally love the new feature, less people asking "where are the outlines?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!"...but that's unrelated - and there's a thread in the U.S. history essays and DBQ's forum that has lots of useful links - here's the link:

I'll look for you more a bit later, but now I gotta get back to my homework...
