Rant till Someone Smacks You

Okay, I'll rant here for a bit...

For my AP Gov final we have to do a whole big presentation thing- and not in front of our teacher either. our entire curriculum was divided into several sections, then my class was divided up into groups, and each was given one section to write a speech on, etc. We then get to present our speeches to three local politician-type people (and at least one judge...). After that we get questioned by the panel of people for 10 min. Weeelll, the group I was placed in has three people in it (including myself), and somehow almost the entire project was dumped into my lap. ONE of the other people got his info to me yesterday so I could write the speech, but the other person didn't. So I had to spend an extera two and a half hours researching HER part of the paper, filling out the other person's information (it was a bit too scketchy), AND write my own part, then put it all togeather!!! AND, to top it all off, seniors at my school have finals this week- so after I had finished writing the paper at around 9 at night (and I had been working on it since about 3:30), I still had to study for my finals in precalc and AP Bio! I stayed up till 2:30 in the morning, and STILL didn;t get everything done. ARGGGGGGHHHH!!!!!!

My Mandarin teacher decided to inform us today, a week from our final, that we will be having an intense written final which will be heavily integrated into our grade. It would be totally fine, except for the fact that we haven't LEARNED ANYTHING this last year. My class never does anything but watch movies and do activities. Apparently the language department complained and so we now have to have an intense final. We were going to have a scavenger hunt that would force us to read and talk in Mandarin, but now we have a deathly test in its place. It's alllll so fair.

You know sophmores, they think they're smart and all that. That was me, only earlier this junior year. Only that, i thought i was smart, and believed it. So .. instead of taking it easy-ish, i decided to go and take a few APs, becuase i did the year before and happened to pass the test (World Hist) without studying. So now I have two weeks worth of tests for classes where I don't seem to have learned. Well, i did learn in Calc and Eng, but not in History nor Phys. So now i have to cram about 200 years of history into my little head and it's ready to explode because my teacher hasn't taught anything and also cram theories and all that fun stuff because again, my teahcer hasn't taught anything.

Ain't life great?
