I know!!! It's great, but really hard. On our last test the class average was 53%.

i know, i wish we had AP chem too, i'm taking CP (college prep), and he teaches it like a college class, but do we get college credit? no... it just "looks pretty" on transcripts and whatnot

yeah, in my CP chem class, (these are the smart people who also put forth lotsa effort and such) the class average is often failing also. he teaches this class to about 125 kids a year, give or take, and last year 2 kids got an A, the year before only one...talk about a GPA buster!

Im currently taking AP Biology, AP Language & Composition, AP U.S. History, Pre-Calc, Physics, Digital Art, and I&A (Instrumentation and Automation - Engineering Class). It is a pretty tough school year since I am in 11th grade.

That's the nice thing about AP-we get 5 for an A, 4 for a B, ect. But the crazy thing about the class is that there are only about 18 people in it, and about five of them are dropping out (one actually has good reason, but the others thought it would be an easy A. As if!)

tgtgcgirl, and anyone else who would like college credit for their efforts, here's some good news.

If you feel as if you are truly prepared for the AP exam, you are not required to take the class. All you need is the money for the exam and the initials of a teacher in order to qualify for the AP Exam.
