Need Notes?
While we strive to provide the most comprehensive notes for as many high school textbooks as possible, there are certainly going to be some that we miss. Drop us a note and let us know which textbooks you need. Be sure to include which edition of the textbook you are using! If we see enough demand, we'll do whatever we can to get those notes up on the site for you!
I live in a suburb of Philadelpia.

St. Paul, Minnesota. But I'm moving to Georgia in a couple months.
Janesville, Wisconsin. Yipee (sarcasm). Home state of Joe McCarthy, Bob LaFollette, and cows...

Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those people I had to kill becau
Not sure if I posted in this one or not, but it doesn't really matter I guess. I'm from Georgia. I'm about to live in the heart of Atlanta :D .

How do you like it there? My family's moving there soon, and I'm considering college there.
Well, I can tell you, there's a reason everyone calls it "HOTlanta". It's humid around here too, but you get used to it. It's been raining in the metro area for like 4 days now (never in the same place and not for very long, but hey, rain is rain), but it's usually pretty dry. We've been having droughts here for a few years, but it's bound to stop eventually.
Well, we've got public transportation in the form of Marta which is convenient, especially if you're planning on going to college in Atlanta. Easy access to home, but just enough hassle to prevent your parents from bothering you all the time :p . We've got a baseball stadium and a football stadium that are pretty close. We've also got the Varsity which is like the most awesome and fattening food in the world, but you still have to go there at least once, even if it's one of the smaller ones outside of the city.
Now, I'm not gonna lie to you, Atlanta isn't the safest place on earth, but colleges have phones and emergency buttons set up around campus and police to escort you if you don't feel comfortable. As long as you stay in well lit areas on campus and go with friends to places and walk confidently on campus you should be fine though. But unless you're in the city of Atlanta itself, you should be pretty safe. I know that places like the south end of Fulton county and Gwinnett county have some problems in places (like my school had some minor gang issues), but for the most part you don't have to worry about much.
It's really a great place to be and we got lots of fun stuff like Lake Lanier, Six Flags, White Water (amusement parks), A new (a quite impressive I hear) aquarium (but don't expect to get tickets easily. It's still a novelty at the moment), the High Museum of Art (which you can get to by Marta and will soon be the first museum to house paintings from...well, I can't remember where, but it's a huge deal that the museum loaned the works to anyone, and it's us), The Ferst Center on the Georgia Tech campus houses act from all over the world of all kinds, and the Fox Theater which has broadway plays and other such acts. Basically, we've got just about anything that you would want to do here.
I've lived here all my life and I'm gonna be here for at least one more on campus (I might work somewhere else every other semester...we'll see). It's so great to be able to go so many places and see so many things.

yea, Atlanta's great, i live bout 40 miles east of there. we go to
Braves' games, Six Flags, all those things. it's also kinda funny to mess with the homeless people for a while. but then i get to feeling bad, and i'll give them some money or somethin. there are some pretty good schools around here, Georgia Tech is one of the best tech colleges in the region, that's where i'll end up, most likely. Emory isn't too far from the A, so if you're looking for a med school, they could hook u up. there are plenty of other U's, so depending on what you wanna do, you should be able to find somethin around here. i'm glad it's startin to cool down after this rain, today it was only like 93 or something. GOOD LUCK, PEACE OUT, ALL THAT STUFF
its only stupid if u do it twice
That's weird. All we've been getting up here is rain as well. But wasn't there some kinda drought or something going on in the West? Please excuse my ignorance

But how will I know limits from lies if I never try?'
