Hello. =)

Hello, I'm new here. My name is Gabby, and I'm a junior taking APUSH this year. I really love history, and my favorite time period in American history (so far) is the Revolution/New Nation. I love Alexander Hamilton, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, George Washington and John Adams. And my favorite president happens to be Alexander Hamilton... :p He was a sexy beast, after all. Heehee.

My APUSH teacher is not an American citizen; she's from Sweden, and she has a doctorate in American History. She's taught at several colleges and stuff, and she's just plain awesome. :)

To study for history tests, I draw absurd little stick figures and make up equally absurd and sometimes disturbingly funny little scenarios to remember big concepts. I am quite a geek when it comes to history.

Other than history, I love reading, writing, acting, Spanish, and art (in all its forms). I especially enjoy English grammar, and diagramming is my specialty (since I can't do math very well, diagramming is my math, my equation). I am very happy to have found a site that is a meeting place for people who enjoy history as much as I do! :)

Alexander Hamilton is my favorite president.

Welcome to the site! I'm sure that you'll find that you fit in quite nicely.

Don't worry about your stick figures. I do equally silly things to remember stuff, it really does help. Reading, writing, Spanish, and art are all fun. I also enjoy them even though I never have time to read or write, I dropped Spanish for Physics, and I'm horrible in art, but hey, they're fun :p .

And I don't think Alexander Hamilton was president. Perhaps the country just wasn't ready for such a great man ;) .
