I'm here mainly because there is nothing more I love discussing than school. And, of course, I may have a few questions of my own. I am a Sophomore in APUSH. This is my first official AP class, though I do have college credits already.
In other matters, I am a classical pianist, and I love opera.
oooh, a music fan. We should get along well (As long as you don't ask stupid questions :P)
I was just listening to some of Debussy's solo piano pieces. If it's music, I'm down with it, I have it all, from classical, to jazz (and boatloads of it), to rock, metal, rap.

Wait, an intro thread Shadow approves of? Unheard of!!!!!
Welcome to the site Lleu. Do feel free to ask questions (although please be aware of the forum rules. There's a link in Shadow's signature and he can get pretty annoyed *cough*understatement*cough* if you break them) or to answer a few questions others have posted.
And yes, classical music is awesome, although I don't listen to it all that often anymore. Mozart is awesome to listen to even if I want to strangle him because I can't play a piece he wrote when he was 8....he's crazy man. But I am singing his requiem. I much prefer singing his pieces then playing them. And opera is awesome, although I don't listen to all that much of that either. I'm curious though. Does an opera fan such as yourself know of a composer called Domenico Cimarosa? He's Italian and supposedly wrote several operas. I didn't really know until I did a report on him....

No, I've never heard of him. I don't really like many Italian operas. Verdi, Puccini, and Rosini are okay, but I much prefer Beethoven and Wagner.
