Do I stand a chance?

This is the situation.

I'm not a US citizen. I don't have green card as of yet. As far as I know I'm pretty much disqualified for every scholarship there is. And there is no way my family can afford tuition at the kind of college I want to go to.

Are there scholarships/good ideas for me, or am I doomed to a small town community college?

Advice or tips would be awesome.

Ask Your guidance Counselor, they have a good knack of coming up with scholarships for people with specific circumstances. Besides, I think colleges look for foreign students so as to increase their diversity or something like that.

In the college game, you have to play dirty; use anything and everything that you can to get your name in front of everyone else's.

I like to think of it as guerilla warfare. Use your weaknesses as advantages. (I remember this from somewhere) They are big, you are small: You are hidden, they are exposed; You are quick and agile, they are slow and cumbersome. You get the idea.

Good luck, God knows I need it.

Need Notes?

While we strive to provide the most comprehensive notes for as many high school textbooks as possible, there are certainly going to be some that we miss. Drop us a note and let us know which textbooks you need. Be sure to include which edition of the textbook you are using! If we see enough demand, we'll do whatever we can to get those notes up on the site for you!
