quick question

is it better to take a C in an honors class or to drop the class that will show up onto my transcript

it's probably better to have that class than nothing at all. maybe you could transfer to something easier instead...

It depends what kind of honors class it is... if it's honors pre-calc, a lot of colleges consider it to be an AP when they look at your GPA... thus, it's essentially a B...
maybe you should switch out to an easier class...

I think you should stay in the class--most colleges will see that you took a more difficult class, and weigh that favorably. Not to mention that you still have the time to get the grade up.

Hey, I think you should stay in the class, because the "c" just may be looked at as a "B" depending on the course. However, if you feel that the class is maybe too hard, than you should do what is right for you and your grade and switch to an easier class.
