Citing this site

Just a suggestion, but you guys might want to put a link to an MLA format for citing this website. I'd suggest filling it out completely and posting a link to it on the front page, so that people don't have such a hard time finding things. That way, they're much less likely to plagerize(sp?).

While I'm at it, can anyone tell me the name of the creator of this site and the last time it was updated????? I've looked all over, but the best I've found is "Chris." lol

That IS who made it and owns it and operates it.

What detail(s) or other thing(s) do you need to know?

Also, why would you need to cite the site?

Research papers.

Also the owners name is under "contact us." As for "last updated" I thought for works cited it was when you viewed the page, not when it was last updated. May be wrong on that.

What information are you using for the research paper?

As a side note, when you site web site, you use either the last updated date, or the date you researched on the site. Teachers like it better if you use the last updated date.

Over 50% of the sites I have cited in bibliographies and/or works cited don't have a last updated date so don't even stress it.

Also, I still don't see what you would site from here.

Notes possibly, that the only thing I can think of. And if it's a post, then that is the intelectual property of the poster and a different matter in itself.

For most classes a post in a forum is not substantial information and cannot be used for any kind of research paper or speech.

Well, you could use it, it is just not the best of sources to use.

What are you talking about? If you even look at the outlines or anything like that for help writing a research paper, you have to cite the website or it's technically plagerism, because this whole site is the intellectual property of the owner. And, according to the MLA style we're supposed to use, you should have both the date it was last updated and the date you accessed it. Anyway, I got the info I needed, so thanks. btw, I still think you guys should suggest to whoever runs this site that a citation outline should be on the front page, or in the plagerism section.
